Hello there. Stuart Craig here reporting for blogging duty. You may have spotted me out and about at shows over the last 27 years (getting fatter and greyer by the minute) as I’m a former journalist and editor of many caravan and motorhome magazines and websites.

Customers of Lowdham Leisureworld may also recognize the name (and face) from my time as their marketing manager. I now have a new home as business development manager for Shield.
I have a passion for caravans and motorhomes having toured in virtually every country in Europe and road tested hundreds of the things!

Hopefully this blog will give you an insight into the world of camping and caravanning that’s not just boring old caravan insurance stuff. I hope it will be chatty, interesting (I won’t talk about my breakfast), it may be controversial (although it will make no reference to my colleagues’ partners) and if you occasionally find it funny, so much the better.
