Saw two salesman this morning dressed in Star Trek outfits! Now caravan dealers are usually more likely to be seen in Hugo Boss than lycra so I wondered what was going on. My friend Richard from the Dethleffs Owners Club dragged me over to take a look.

The guys came from John Coopers Caravans in Lincs. There are bringing in the radical Dethleffs Aero range – and indeed they look very Star Trek. Priced just under £20k – not bad at all!

Had a chat with friends at Chichester Caravans – nice guys working hard at the show and took my first good look at the new Bailey Olympus. The next gen of caravans using the Alu-Tech construction from the Pegasus. An improvement too in my mind and only 7ft 2in wide.

Helped a customer with the oldest caravan we have insured for a while. A 1933 Hutchings. Fantastic! We’re nothing if not flexible here. Looking at tents later.
